OUR STORY

In 2010, Casey and Carson Lobdell purchased gilts to show at the local county fair and decided that they would begin breeding and showing pigs. What started as a two gilt, FFA project, almost 10 years ago, has now expanded into almost 40 sows and prospect gilts, a farrowing and nursery building, and new sow housing. In 2021, we converted the old farrowing barn at Morgan's family farm into our chip barn. We've hit the ground and been running since to up our game. Our operation starts with sound management of our females, dedication to nutrition, and high quality care. We believe in females that are structurally sound, flexible, and well balanced to look the part. The sow herd consists of crossbreds, Spots, and Yorkshires.

In 2024, Casey and Morgan took over as the sole operators of Lobdell Show Pigs. They continue the promise of raising high quality show pigs in Mineral Point, WI.

We take pride in raising and selling quality show pigs for any level of competition. We also remain true to our roots that began in 4-H and FFA. We are passionate about helping young people find a project and develop their pig for their respective show. We believe that showing livestock is one of the greatest things a young person can participate in. If it is your first or last year showing pigs we are dedicated to raising a quality pig for you! The most important part of this industry is the people.

Let us help you with your next show season.
