Try to understand...he's a MAGIC MAN!
We saw the Triggs/Boar Batter had MAGIC MAN posted for sale on Facebook. We had pow-wow and decided that it would be best to add him to our barn. We are excited to add another layer to our herd and offer this sire to the public. He is what we look for in the spots and ties it all together in a stout package.
Tall shouldered, short backed, burly skull and jaw, awesome pin set, and a FAT set of bones. His angulation and skeletal build is crazy good even with this much feature. He's been consistent in passing on that dense feature and stout look. Not only can he make barrows, but he puts a pretty stamp on the females.
MAGIC MAN’S dam has quickly built a reputation at Triggs and cemented her future in Mt. Ayr, IA. Her first litter yielded their $4300 high in '21 had a good run in Illinois. In 2022 she weaned 10 and 9 of those made it to the chip barn and sold to junior families in Iowa, Missouri, Indiana, Virginia, Oklahoma, and Texas. MAGIC MAN’s litter was flat good and produced Welch’s Reserve Spot Barrow at the National Western, the Steven family’s barrow that had a good run on the CJSA Circuit and at Red River Rivalry, and three mate sisters were retained to lay back into their sow herd.
